IIGS will be holding a two hour festival in celebrations of 23rd March 2009. Since the 23rd will be a public holiday the function will be held during school hours on the 20th of March, 2009 (Friday).
Students will indulge in face painting, singing of patriotic anthems and quizzes on Pakistan's history. The event will start and end with the playing of the nayional anthem by the school choir.
The purpose of the event is to instill patriotism and love for Pakistan into the hearts of the children.
